Mariano insisted to document it (haha) so here. I got it from DB Gadgets, this is actually my 2nd time purchasing something online. I’ve been eyeing on this lens like forever so finally, I’ve decided to get it once and for all.

No regrets! YOLO! Hahaha! Isa nanamang addition sa mga napupundar kong gamit. *u*

Just to share a funny story: Mariano and I we’re kidding about sending a jejemon text to place an order (Eow po, pagbilan nga po ng lens). But of course, hindi ko ginawa iyon. To my surprise, when I was texting the contact person about his whereabouts last 08/18/2012, here’s his reply:

“elow pho aqo pho ung kmet ninyo sa mega aq pho ung sa db gadget’s kta nlng pho tau sa fud court mega a thx”

Mariano thought I was kidding when I read the message out loud to him, so I showed him the text and he laughed even more. Sabi niya, ikaw pa pala ang maje-jeje. Hahaha!

Kidding aside, DB Gadgets has been around for 4 years so, their reputation is very much well-established naman na. I think the only thing that would probably make their service totally superb is…better customer service. When I called their landline, wala man lang “This is DBGadgets.” or “Welcome to DBGadgets”. “Hello” lang kaagad ang bungad sa akin. All throughout the conversation, it was somewhat one-sided, the operator only talked whenever I will ask questions. I felt I was just talking to a neighbor over the phone. Her last line was, “Sesendan kita ng text, paki-fill up na lang.” and then she ended the call. I was baffled. There was no formal closure with our conversation. After a few seconds, she texted me the order form. Ganun lang. It was hilarious and a little bit frustarting, hahaha.

Anyway, all is well and this baby is now in my possession!
